Are there special considerations of the science party or cruise scheduling?
Consider science time constraints; coordination of equipment shipping;
two-ship operations; weather windows; mooring turn-around; teaching schedules
and others that will affect scheduling decisions.

If I have principal use of a ship others at SIO and other institutions may join
me.
An alternative area of operation is 30N120W - 20N110W; however it is less
certain if desired conditions necessary for the success of the work are found
in that area.
Shared cruises would also work for the proposed work. The minimum I require
is wire time for CTD casts (2-4 per day), net tows (two times per day 1-2
hours) and come sediment sampling closer to the coast. About 50% of the work
has to be done during the day.
