OSU piston and Kasten coring gear, OSU MST van, pingers. WE have been
negotiating with officials in both India and Indonesia, and have reason to
believe that clearance will be granted for both countries. This work can be
accomplished on a US large ship, or on the Indonesian vessel Baruna Jaya III,
or also on one of three capable Indian vessels. At the time of this
submission, discsussions regarding foreign vessel use, and clearances are
ongoing with NSF and the two foreign governments involved. Areas IN2 and IN4
are involved.
