Areas of Specialization
Research
Candace Oviatt's current research focuses on coastal ecosystem studies, particularly system production and respiration as measured by oxygen and carbon, carbon and nutrient cycling,benthic-water column interactions, and the functional role of higher trophic levels.
Teaching
Candace Oviatt co-teaches a course on Narragansett Bay (OCG 694) with Scott Nixon for Spring 2011.
