My research interests focus on the dynamics of coastal ecosystems. I am currently exploring the effects of anthropogenic stress on benthic assemblages within Narragansett Bay by developing a characterization of benthic macrofaunal communities present at anthropogenically impacted environments within the bay. Also, I have been evaluating the effects of chronic bottom trawling on benthic communities, as well as the relationship between winter/spring phytoplankton bloom dynamics and benthic infaunal abundance, diversity, and recruitment success. My advisor is Dr. Candace Oviatt.Publications:
