Areas of Specialization

Research

Lindsey's research interests focus on coastal ecology and biogeochemical cycling in coastal systems. Her dissertation research involves assessing the effects of anthropogenic impacts and water column properties on benthic-pelagic coupling in coastal ecosystems. She conducts her research by collecting and analyzing short, intact sediment cores from stations along the Rhode Island coast.
