Captain - Everett (Rhet) McMunn 

The captain, or ship's master, overall commander of the ship. Responsibilities include safe navigation and operation.

Deck Department:

Boatswain- more commonly known as Bosun, responsibilities include:  maintenance of deck crew, and safe, efficient operations used on deck

Chief Mate- second in command aboard the ship. This officer is in  charge of Deck Crew, Boatswain and Able-Bodied Seaman, responsibilities include all aspects of deck operations.                                                                                                                                                                                                     

Second Mate-  navigator, and bridge watch stander, responsibilities            
include plotting navigational tracks, updating charts, and nautical publications. 
     

Able-Bodied Seaman- Charles Baker and Paul Rousell

Three able-bodied seaman also known as AB's, aboard the R/V. Responsibilities include: look-out and Helmsman on bridge, deck assistance with deployment and retrieval of scientific equipment, and conducting ships maintenance.

Engineering Department:

Marine Engineers are the officers of a ship who maintain and repair propulsion and electrical generation systems onboard a ship. They may also design and build such machinery. Lighting, air conditioning, sewage and water systems are monitored also. The Chief Engineer is in charge of the overall well-being of the ship in regards to these systems.

Chief Engineer- William Appleton

Current Chief Engineer has been working on the R/V Endeavor for over 25 years. Responsibilities include safe operation and maintenance of the main engine, in addition to associated engineering equipment.

First Assistant Engineer- is under the watch of the Chief Engineer, responsibilities include: standing watch and maintaining the main engine in addition to associated engineered equipment.

 Oiler- stands watch and conducts general maintenance under the supervision of the Chief Engineer. 

Stewards Department:

Duties include preparation of all scientist and crew meals, maintenance and sanitization of gally areas as well as science rooms.

Messman- Mike Brennan

Assistant to the Steward in preparation of all meals. Also responsible for performing sanitary duties and maintenance of the galley area.

Steward- Stan Isibel

Responsibilities include: hotel services on the ship, meal preparation for ship's crew and scientists.
