Welcome to a demonstration of a tool to display maps of ship time requests submitted via the UNOLS office on-line ship time request form. These preliminary pages are part of an on-going development effort and are presented at the 1997 Fall AGU to encourage comments and suggestions, which may be made on line.
The following demonstration web pages display maps of the ship time request forms filed on the UNOLS web site as of 21NOV97. The main display format is a map of the naval operating areas overlaid with red numbers. These numbers represent the number of ship time requests in that area that correspond to the user-selected year, ship size, and ocean basin. At the ocean basin level, clicking on the maps will produce a table of the individual requests, with links to the original ship time request form.
