Areas of Specialization

Research

Candace Oviatt's current research focuses on coastal ecosystem studies, particularly system production and respiration as measured by oxygen and carbon, carbon and nutrient cycling,benthic-water column interactions, and the functional role of higher trophic levels.

Teaching

Candace Oviatt currently teaches the core course in Biological Oceanography (OCG 561).
