Areas of Specialization

Research

Marine geology and geophysics / archaeological oceanography. High resolution geophysical surveying of underwater archaeological sites. Applications of remotely operated vehicle (ROV) systems to marine science and archaeology. Ocean exploration and seafloor mapping.

Outreach

Assist in the development of educational materials about our research programs and expeditions. These materials supplement live educational broadcasts to universities, schools, museums, aquariums, and science centers as part of an extensive and diverse educational outreach program in partnership with URI's Office of Marine Programs, Immersion Presents at Mystic Aquarium, the Jason Foundation for Education, and the National Geographic Society.
