Upper ocean physics including air-sea interaction, surface and internal waves, air-entrainment, bubble properties and behavior, turbulence; the interaction of stratified flow with topography; exchange through sea straits, nonlinear internal wave generation and propagation, seismic behavior of sea ice; fjord dynamics; acoustical oceanography; the impact of sound on marine mammals.
